School-Based Apprenticeships & Traineeships (SAT)
School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships provide students with the opportunity to enter employment as an apprentice or trainee while completing their senior studies. Most learning occurs on the job, complemented by the completion of a Certificate II or III qualification through self directed assessment modules. Training and assessment are supported by a case manager employed by the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering the qualification.
Our PartnershipsSan Damiano College values strong partnerships that broaden learning opportunities for students. Through flexible timetable arrangements, students may study accredited courses off campus on Wednesdays, allowing them to access specialist facilities and industry expertise.
We are proud to partner with TAFE Queensland, UNIQ You, private RTOs and universities, enhancing our VET offerings and ensuring students are supported with quality training, resources and authentic pathways into further education and employment.
Together, these opportunities reflect San Damiano College’s commitment to nurturing capable, confident and compassionate young people, prepared to contribute positively to their communities and the wider world.
